Long Before the Black Mesa icident They Lived in an unknown world that had a Vortigaunt Leader Nihilanth. It was a Tragic Thing When the Combine Attacked It killed most of their Population The Survivors Where forced to leave Their home planet And escape to Xen Not long After they Escaped to Xen the Black Mesa problem happened with Gordon freeman and the Xen rift and the Leader Nihilanth Saw it as a Chance to Escape He directed the Vortigaunts to Invade earth After a while the Combine invaded Earth and in the Process they Killed Nihilanth The Vortigaunts Then Decided to Ally with The human led Resistance and to work together to end The Combine Union in Revenge
3. Tell us what the Vortigaunts are, how they speak, how they react.
While they usually attack aggressively, they often become timid when injured, preferring to run away rather than risk further combat and possible death, And they Like to Talk Using Older more profound words even use Shakespeare Words. They also Speak using some of there Own Language (vortigese) but try Not to around humans. Then they speak in kinda like a Third person. They also Trail their Ssss a little bit on some words. but then again it depends on if you are Youngling, adult or Elder Vortigaunt And how much That Specific Character knows the Human Language.

Why do you wish to seek enrollment of the Vortigaunt whitelist?
: I wish to be a Vortigaunt because I admire the Vortigaunt roleplaying style and have always wanted to ge tthe chance to roleplay as one. I am very knowledgable on the Vortigaunts and have done research. I want to begin roleplaying as a Vortigaunt to improve the environment and immersion of the server, and add interesting new elements of roleplay to others experiences. Vortigaunts are a great addition to any server's environment and any roleplaying situation.
Describe in 3 paragraphs a Vortigaunt's psychology, physical build, and mentality:
The Vortigaunts origins are largely mysteriosu to the average citizen, but there are some who know more on the subject. Vortigaunts originate from Xen, which can be described as their home 'planet'. Vortigaunts are known for being spirtual and intelligent creatures, known for culturally revolving around "Vortessence". Vortessence is an unknown electrically anamoly that only Vortigaunts have the power to control and posses. It can be used in combat, in medical procedures, to power machinery, and many more unknown fuctions. They also can use the Flux Shift to commnicate with one another. This can be described as an inhuman belowing that can be heard for miles by other Vortigaunts. Vortigaunts are also referenced to have hunted antlions on their home planet of Xen for sport.
Vortigaunts also have an interesting history. A still developing race on Xen, the Nihilathan enslaves them and uses the race as a foot soldier for his invasion of Earth. In the game Half Life 1, Gordon Freeman fights these creatures throughout Earth and Xen to kill the Nihilathan. After the Nihilathan dies, the Vortigaunts were freed from slavery. Shortly after, the Combine power discovered Xen and the Vortigaunt race and put them into slavery. Much more eager to fight back, the Vortigaunts are seen in large numbers working with the resistance on Earth to fight the Combine. Some others are seen in captivity by the Combine, and doing menial labor. Gordon Freeman in Half Life 2 works with Vortigaunts to kill Dr. Breen and take down the Citadel.

* The Vortigaunt had little time to react before he was struck across the face. He fell to the ground, his collar felt like it was suffocating him.

The wounded girl nodded thankfully at the Vortigaunt, and began to apply to vial of gel to her leg.
Xel'Na'Gul spoke in a deep, inhuman voice, "Ahh... Yes... The gel, a technological wonder of the Combine..."
The woman looked at the Vortigaunt curiously for a moment, still applying the gel.
The woman said, "I'm Veronica. I haven't seen you around here before..."
The Vortigaunt interrupted her, "Yes, this one has only but arrived recently."
The woman asked quizzitively, "Why are you here?"
The Vortigaunt replied, "I was sent here by some of your own kind, resistance agaisnt the Combine oppresors."
The woman looked down the alley for a moment when she heard the Vortigaunt approach, humming.
The Vortigaunt hummed and approached the girl, eyes closed as he bended the vortessence to his own will.
He raised his hand over the wound, speaking softly, "Yes... Ah... Tarak'Lung... The wound is healing."
The next couple of minutes were full of friendly banter between the two, the Vortigaunt giving her some ammo and other supplies for the road.

/me grabs the headcrab from his pouch. He proceed to grip it as he turns the knob on the stove.
/it The headcrab seems to be in a good condition to eat. It would be damaged from an electrical charge, but wont be too much.
/it The stove begins to heat up. A small flame starts emerging from the bottom of the stove. It would have a blue color and a red tip at the top.
/me places the headcrab at the center of the stove letting it cook.
/it As the headcrab cooks, it starts to emit a wizing sound.
/me would watch the headcrab as it cooks. He turns the headcrabs slightly as to ensure it cook from all sides.
/it The headcrab finishes cooking. It emits a buzzing sound, signaling its cooked.
/me would pick up the headcrab. He picks a small pan that was laying around. He pours water in the pan. He then proceeds to place the headcrab in the pan.
/it the water starts boiling. As it finishes boiling, Ish'Kack starts putting small spices he bought. The stews color starts changing into a yellowish one.
/me sees the stew is almost ready. He stirs the stew with a wooden stick to ensure it is properly cooked. Moments later, he picks up a wooden shaped spoon and starts feeding from the stew.

Melee:
*Ish'Kack notices the unit facing his back. He proceed to sneak towards to the unit. He raises his arms. He attempts to knock the unit to the ground.
*Patrol-X hears the vortigaunt approaching. He turns around, surprised to see the Vort. He falls to the ground knocked out of his feet.
*Ish'Kack then places his foot on the units back, denying him the chance to stand up.
*Patrol-X attempts to get up, but is unable to do so due to the Vorts weight.
*Ish'Kack starts to chant in Vortigese. He puts his hand together as he charges a ball of energy from the tip of his fingers.
*Green ball of energy emerges from the hands of the Vort.
*Ish'Kack aims for the body of the unit. He discharges the energy he focused.
*The ball of green energy slams the units body like a hammer. Electricity flows trough the units suit.
*Patrol-X is stunned to death by the vortigaunts charge. He dies instantly by the immense voltage.
Ranged:
*Unit notices a Vortigaunt approaching him. He pulls his pistol out of his holster.
*Ish'Kack grips his feet to the ground. He looks at the unit as he does a fighting stance.
*Unit aims for the Vortigaunt, he would fire at him.
*Ish'Kack hopes the units pistol is out of ammo as he begins to charge up his Vortessence.
*Unit's pistol emits a clicking sound. The magazine drops to the ground, showing its empty.
*Ish'Kack continues to maintain his focus. He would point his hands to the ground as he charges his powers.
* The ground seems to shake as it starts to emit a green glow. Particles of the same color start emerging from the ground towards the Vorts hands.
*Ish'Kack then points his hands to the unit. The green particles start forming into a form of a spear.(The lighting bolt of energy) He would discharge this energy towards the unit in front of him.
*Unit sees that he has no chance to escape. He waits for the beam to strike him, hoping he survives.
*The spear hits the unit. Electricity starts flowing trough the units armor. He would be unconscious.

Xel'Na'Gul was a young Vortigaunt, just discovering his bond with the Vortessence when the Nihilathan seized control over his kin and his people. His eldrs and other siblings were put to work mining to prodce weapons. The mines were a harsh and dangerous work, and the younger siblings quickly died of either torture or overworking. His elders were sent to an unknown planet, which Xel found out was called, "Earth". Still working in the mines, Xel, like all other Vortigaunts at the time, felt an exhilerating rush of energy as his braces and clamps came off. It was moments later that he was rushing out of the mine past other kin who were mid-combat with the now freed gaurds. He reached the end of the mine, and the rare luinescents of Xen shone down on his face. Crowds flooded out into Xen, cheering joyful chants and running excitedly. This day, Xel thought he was going to be free. Without family, no close kin of any kind, but he was still free. At least he thought he was.
After a short couple of days conversing with kin and rebuilding his old den, the attack happened. Mutant, horrible combinations of metal and flesh ran amock, the sky torn open by a black hole, with monstorous yet undescribable creatures fell from it. They slaughtered, firing down weapons of death on running innocents. His kin were slaughtered before his very eyes. He dug himself a small hole under his bedding in his den, and hid inside. He waited for nearly a day, listening in the dark to the violent slaughter outside. He eventually was forced to emerge, when a "Hunter" creature lifted him from his hiding place, and followed through by kicking his ribs in until he was unconcious. The next couple of days were a blur, as Xel was imprisoned and shipped off to Earth. He woke in fire and wreckage in a canal, under a crashed dropship. He set out soon after across this planet, which he concluded was Earth from meetings with some of the inhabitants. Xel was curious about the humans and their language, and learned quickly from a small group of humans. They too were invaded and herded into cities. There were many people who fought against them, including these. After a month or so with this group of uncoordinated rebels, he was given a mission by them to head into the not so far city. He would help the weak rebel forces in this city to do what they can. He accepted graciously. He was snuck in under the shadows, and ended up making his new den inside of a small construction site in the city. After the Riots,Bombings Xel found himself in the desert near a small town and interacts with the humans

*Ish'Kack notices the unit facing his back. He proceed to sneak towards to the unit. He raises his arms. He attempts to knock the unit to the ground.
*Patrol-X hears the vortigaunt approaching. He turns around, surprised to see the Vort. He falls to the ground knocked out of his feet.
*Ish'Kack then places his foot on the units back, denying him the chance to stand up.
*Patrol-X attempts to get up, but is unable to do so due to the Vorts weight.
*Ish'Kack starts to chant in Vortigese. He puts his hand together as he charges a ball of energy from the tip of his fingers.
*Green ball of energy emerges from the hands of the Vort.
*Ish'Kack aims for the body of the unit. He discharges the energy he focused.
*The ball of green energy slams the units body like a hammer. Electricity flows trough the units suit.
*Patrol-X is stunned to death by the vortigaunts charge. He dies instantly by the immense voltage.
Ranged:
*Unit notices a Vortigaunt approaching him. He pulls his pistol out of his holster.
*Ish'Kack grips his feet to the ground. He looks at the unit as he does a fighting stance.
*Unit aims for the Vortigaunt, he would fire at him.
*Ish'Kack hopes the units pistol is out of ammo as he begins to charge up his Vortessence.
*Unit's pistol emits a clicking sound. The magazine drops to the ground, showing its empty.
*Ish'Kack continues to maintain his focus. He would point his hands to the ground as he charges his powers.
* The ground seems to shake as it starts to emit a green glow. Particles of the same color start emerging from the ground towards the Vorts hands.
*Ish'Kack then points his hands to the unit. The green particles start forming into a form of a spear.(The lighting bolt of energy) He would discharge this energy towards the unit in front of him.
*Unit sees that he has no chance to escape. He waits for the beam to strike him, hoping he survives.
*The spear hits the unit. Electricity starts flowing trough the units armor. He would be unconscious.

Xel'Na'Gul was a young Vortigaunt, just discovering his bond with the Vortessence when the Nihilathan seized control over his kin and his people. His eldrs and other siblings were put to work mining to prodce weapons. The mines were a harsh and dangerous work, and the younger siblings quickly died of either torture or overworking. His elders were sent to an unknown planet, which Xel found out was called, "Earth". Still working in the mines, Xel, like all other Vortigaunts at the time, felt an exhilerating rush of energy as his braces and clamps came off. It was moments later that he was rushing out of the mine past other kin who were mid-combat with the now freed gaurds. He reached the end of the mine, and the rare luinescents of Xen shone down on his face. Crowds flooded out into Xen, cheering joyful chants and running excitedly. This day, Xel thought he was going to be free. Without family, no close kin of any kind, but he was still free. At least he thought he was.
After a short couple of days conversing with kin and rebuilding his old den, the attack happened. Mutant, horrible combinations of metal and flesh ran amock, the sky torn open by a black hole, with monstorous yet undescribable creatures fell from it. They slaughtered, firing down weapons of death on running innocents. His kin were slaughtered before his very eyes. He dug himself a small hole under his bedding in his den, and hid inside. He waited for nearly a day, listening in the dark to the violent slaughter outside. He eventually was forced to emerge, when a "Hunter" creature lifted him from his hiding place, and followed through by kicking his ribs in until he was unconcious. The next couple of days were a blur, as Xel was imprisoned and shipped off to Earth. He woke in fire and wreckage in a canal, under a crashed dropship. He set out soon after across this planet, which he concluded was Earth from meetings with some of the inhabitants. Xel was curious about the humans and their language, and learned quickly from a small group of humans. They too were invaded and herded into cities. There were many people who fought against them, including these. After a month or so with this group of uncoordinated rebels, he was given a mission by them to head into the not so far city. He would help the weak rebel forces in this city to do what they can. He accepted graciously. He was snuck in under the shadows, and ended up making his new den inside of a small construction site in the city. After the Riots,Bombings Xel found himself in the desert near a small town and interacts with the humans
